amanzing job! i saw your blog and you have epic stuff there, you should post those things here. your style looks like Nilkas Janson from android arts (did you know him? [link]).

about your game project, wise choice to make the game a side scroller, this way your style gona fit like a glove and the aesthetic feeling will be better plus the gameplay can be more dynamic, pure gold. I have game project with my bro and we did the same thing (changed the whole thing to a sidescroller, so we decided to make a simple game to start) i know how you feel.

I'm super pumped for this game, the concept and mock ups so far are really appealing to me. I'm noticing a similar palette to Team Fortress and Rad Soldiers. Being weary that it's still early days, so this is probably something you guys haven't defined yet, but might be cool to mix up the palette a little to set it apart. Looking forward to seeing Odanata's progression :-)

Well concerning the palette, it's the way it's always been to be honest.
I don't really see any resemblances, I am using bold colors but I've been doing that since I started drawing :p

Of course! I wasn't suggesting influence, just that the red and blue's triggered that connection. Bold colours are definitely the way to go since you guys really excel in it :-)
